But in (Post-racial) America
My black is the dirt
Under a white man's shoe
My black
Six feet under
While he stands his ground
No gun to be found
No visible threat
Besides my black
Fists raised
You can see my hands

But too often
In a world of black & white
A black man
Is not who he is
But who he is perceived to be
The white perception (of black)
Is considered reality
So they stop and frisk
Because "the gift of his skin
Has a shit load of curses"
The new Jim Crow
Institutional
Racism still alive
They just be concealing it
Concealed weapons
Of mass destruction
The black man
Public enemy #1
Never a victim
Always a suspect
but
"being colored is a
metaphysical dilemma
He hasn't conquered yet"
